Loved it. Well worth the drive. Brisket was rubbed and smoked well. Great sides. Staff was very kind and welcoming. Best Texas bbq I've had in Kentucky.

Food is awesome! Literally straight from Texas! Owner is from there and knows what's up. You won't find better BBQ than this anywhere! Highly recommend it.

I cannot say enough about the burnt ends, delicious, perfection, overall great. Service was efficient, polite and made it a speedy visit.

This family business has a hometown feel. Local high school sports team's posters are hanging on the walls. The people greet you with a smile like you are family when you walk in. I asked for a sampler plate of meats and I enjoyed every item. The brisket was tender with a good char on the outside. The chopped pork bbq was tender and tasty. I'll definitely be coming back when I'm in Richmond.

REALLY, REALLY GREAT BBQ!!!! Very Happy with the quality and portions. My wife liked the macaroni and cheese. I love the collard greens, they offer vinegar on them, delicious! I highly recommend this place. Way to go people!

A small, family BBQ spot that has hands to God, the best BBQ we have ever had. Take your pic between brisket, pulled pork, ribs, & sausage all meticulously smoked outside of the establishment. Delicious variety of sauces but this barbecue does not eat any sauce whatsoever. It's more of a cherry on top of the cake, if desired. The restaurant is roomy and casual with a cafeteria type set up. We haven't been real impressed with the sides that we have tried. Both the potato salad and the coleslaw lack flavor and are too runny. Definitely does not appear to be homemade. If it is, it needs celery, relish and onion. We have not sampled the barbecue baked beans or the macaroni and cheese. I don't have any pictures because we can never wait to eat the food! If you're ever in Richmond Kentucky this is the place you should stop to eat!

A small place and not busy on this Friday night, which was surprising because the barbecue is solid. It's "Texas barbecue" so I went with the brisket. The cook asked if I minded it being mostly moist, which I definitely did not. It was not nearly as fatty as I expected, turning out to be quite delicious. At the table, I dug into the meal. A good portion of brisket which did need a tiny bit of sauce to bring out the flavor. With a big portion of excellent mac & cheese that was cheesy with firm noodles and a great flavor. Potato salad was good with firm potatoes and a tasty mix. This was a good meal and I enjoyed it muchly. My friend chose the pulled pork and pronounced it delicious.
